Information

To ensure a successful investigation into your ancestry, TREESEARCH needs a starting point.

You may, for example, be searching for a specific ancestor, in which case we would require as much background and relationship information about that person in order to facilitate the search.

If, on the other hand, you are seeking a general family history through one or more sets of grandparents, you will need to supply details of any of these ancestors who can be found in the most recent of the available records - the 1911 or 1901 census.

Information that
TREESEARCH can use to locate your ancestors in the available records includes:
  • Full names and dates of birth of your parents and grandparents
  • Where they lived and/or were born (a general location is usually sufficient)
  • Names and dates of birth of your immediate family (this is optional, but will enable your family’s information to be presented more comprehensively)

TREESEARCH will be pleased to discuss your requirements more fully prior to commencing any investigative work on your behalf.
